Why are we humanising ourselves?

Why are anthropologists, sociologists, and psychologists increasingly valued?

Why is silence, retreat, introversion, sadness and loneliness gaining momentum as moments to cherish?

Why have philosophers begun to philosophise on a grand scale, putting all great and forgotten thinkers on our agenda? Why do I re-learn living alone, listening to my heart, to my intuition? Why do I learn more about myself, about my human capabilities?

Because we are at the exact point where we know much more about us humans than ever before. We have statistically studied many behaviours, we have deeply learned how we function. Knowing so much, we are creating intelligence superior to ours. We must, therefore, at this very moment, delve into ourselves. We have to leave our automated routines. We have to work our potential, recreate ourselves as people.

I believe that with more humanity we will overcome the next great revolution: the coexistence with superior algorithms that will dominate routines, supervise and organise our lives.

Who creates these algorithms are us, but we know that these human creations will become self-governing. We are creating extraordinary outside brains.

The dimension of integrated knowledge will not fit in our own humanity.

The AI will be magnificent or Dantesque.

We must all be present at the dawn of this new era. We must all be social benjamins.

WE have to re-learn ethics, humanity, equality, inclusion.

It will never be the same, it will be different. And it does not have to be the end.

Let it be the beginning.

Welcome to the future! 2020 is here.
